I come from humble beginnings. Born and raised in Guyana, South America, I’ve always felt the need to do something meaningful. I moved to the UK as a teenager and, while I settled in well enough, I often struggled to find my place, maybe because I’m very introverted. Still, I kept moving forward.
Leaning into an early passion for beauty, I immersed myself in what felt familiar and eventually found myself exploring product and brand development. What started as curiosity and creativity grew into a successful beauty brand that caught the attention of major magazines and landed on the shelves of boutique stores.
But the real turning point came when I realised there was a bigger picture; it was bigger than myself.
I now had the ability to show other women that they too could build a life on their own terms, doing something they loved and find freedom through it. This was the birth of my creative studio.
It was exciting to bring everything I’d learned and use it to help other women do the same. I knew their journey, because I’d lived it.
I know what it feels like to have a big vision and be determined to bring it to life, even when the path isn’t clear. I know how heavy imposter syndrome can feel, especially when stepping into new territory. I felt that shift myself when I transitioned from running a product-based business to offering strategic services. But I kept going, and with every client I supported, my purpose became clearer.
One of the proudest parts of my journey is watching my clients grow, not just in business, but in confidence. I’ve seen women move from unsure and overwhelmed to owning their space, attracting dream opportunities, and becoming the face of brands they once only dreamed of. For me it’s more about the transformation than just visuals or strategy.
My work is about more than design. It’s about empowering women to step into their full potential and take up space in the industries they love. And every step of my story so far has been a reminder that when one woman rises, she makes room for others to do the same.
